Chris Nelson

Director, Product Engineering

Chris joined Waukesha Gas Engines in 2008 and currently leads the product engineering group across the full lifecycle from NPI design and mechanical development, custom order engineering, configuration management, manufacturing support, repair and overhaul development, technical standards, and product safety.  Before Waukesha, Chris was an engineering manager at the engine development consultancy Ricardo, leading design and analysis teams in Detroit and Chicago.

Tim Kapelanski

Engineering Platform Leader – VGF and 275

Tim joined Waukesha Gas Engines in 2016 as a Product Service Engineer and currently leads the 275 and VGF platforms within engineering where he is responsible for the overall engineering strategy of the platforms from field issues, current product development, and future development. Prior to joining Waukesha, Tim was a product support engineer for Caterpillar Global Mining supporting operators around the world.

Greg Polkus

Manager, Engine Product Management

Greg is responsible for Waukesha engine product management, where he develops new products focused on improving the reliability and performance of Waukesha’s engine.   He is responsible for the multi-generational product plan which is the long-term product strategy ensuring Waukesha units continue to deliver industry leading value for operators of its engines.  Greg joined Waukesha Engine in 2015. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the Michigan Technological University in Houghton, Michigan.
