The Becker LD Series actuators are low pressure diaphragm actuators designed for use with Becker CV^E Series Globe Control Valves. The LD Series actuators provide guaranteed failure mode of the control valve in the event of loss of power gas. The LD Actuator utilizes a low pressure diaphragm to stroke the actuator in one direction while a spring provides opposing force for reverse travel. The LD is capable of throttling all sizes of Becker CVE Series globe control valves. Because of their high power output at low input pressures, the Becker LD Series (Linear Diaphragm) Actuators are typically utilized when power gas pressures are less than 50 psig. The LD Series Actuators are ideal when high pressure power gas is not available.
